Louis
Toteda, pianist, keyboard player formerly with the band "Nightlife Unlimited" was also signed with Casablanca and RCA Records in the 70's and 80's. The Canadian outfit burst on the scene in 1979
with "Disco Choo Choo." After the Unidisc 12" single
began receiving U.S. club play Casablanca Records stepped in and
licensed the album for release.
Now founder and director of the accomplished "Orchestra La
Gioventu", from 1979 till today, Louis weaves a versatile
format covering a wide range of musical styles from Jazz to R&B
to Afro-Cuban influences.
Today, Alma Faye Brooks and Louis are currently collaborating
on original material.
